MTNoted is a free web platform that offers various online productivity tools, such as notepad, password generator, character counter, and QR code generator. Everything works directly in your browser, without requiring installation or registration.
Is MTNoted really free?
Yes! All MTNoted tools are 100% free and always will be. We have no paid plans, hidden fees, or subscriptions.
Do I need to create an account to use it?
No! MTNoted works without requiring registration or login. Just access the site and start using any tool immediately.
Which browsers are supported?
MTNoted works on all modern browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. We recommend keeping your browser always updated for the best experience.

Is my data safe?
Yes! Most data (texts, passwords, QR codes) are processed and stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. Your data remains only on your device.
Do you store my information?
We do not store the content you create with the tools (texts, passwords, QR codes). We only store anonymous usage data via Google Analytics to improve the service.

Are the generated passwords secure?
Yes! Our password generator uses secure cryptographic algorithms to create random passwords. Passwords are generated locally in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
Do you sell my data?
Never! We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your privacy is our priority.

How do I save my notes?
Your notes are automatically saved to local browser storage as you type. You can also download notes as a .txt file by clicking the save button.
Are my notes saved to the cloud?
No. Notes are stored only in your browser (LocalStorage). If you clear the browser cache or use another device, notes will not be available.
I lost my notes. Can I recover them?
Unfortunately, no. Since data is stored locally in the browser, if you cleared the cache, uninstalled the browser, or switched devices, the notes are permanently lost. We recommend backing up important notes by saving them as a file.
🔐 Password Generator
How does the password generator work?
The generator creates random passwords using characters you choose (uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols). You can customize the size and types of characters included.
Do you store the generated passwords?
No! Passwords are generated locally in your browser using JavaScript. No password is sent or stored on our servers. Note or copy your passwords immediately after generating them.
What password size should I use?
We recommend passwords of at least 12-16 characters with uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols for maximum security. The longer and more varied, the more secure.
📊 Character Counter
What does the counter analyze?
The counter provides detailed analysis including: number of characters (with and without spaces), words, paragraphs, lines, and estimated reading time. Ideal for social media, SEO, and academic work.
How does reading time work?
We calculate reading time based on an average of 200 words per minute, which is the average adult reading speed.
📱 QR Code Generator
What types of QR codes can I create?
You can create QR codes for: URLs (links), plain text, emails, phone numbers, SMS, vCards (contacts), geographic coordinates, and WiFi networks.
How do I save the QR code?
After generating the QR code, click the download button to save the image in PNG format to your device. The file can be printed or shared digitally.
Do QR codes expire?
No! QR codes generated on MTNoted are permanent and will work forever. Since the content is embedded in the code itself, they do not depend on our servers.
Can I customize the QR code?
Currently, we offer standard black and white QR codes. Customization features (colors, logos) are on our future improvements list.
⚙️ Technical Issues
The tool is not working. What should I do?
Try these solutions:
- Refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R)
- Clear browser cache
- Try using another browser
- Check your internet connection
- Temporarily disable browser extensions
The site is slow. Why?
MTNoted is designed to be fast, as most processing occurs locally. If it is slow, it may be due to your internet connection or too many open browser tabs.
Does it work on mobile devices?
Yes! MTNoted is fully responsive and works perfectly on smartphones and tablets. All tools are optimized for smaller screens.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

How long does it take for you to respond?
We do our best to respond to all messages within 5 business days. Urgent issues or critical bugs are prioritized.
